Air France

Air France is the French flag carrier and, together with KLM and Transavia, part of the Air France-KLM Group. Its main hub is Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Air France is a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance. According to the group, the French state holds 28 percent of Air France-KLM and the Dutch state 9.1 percent (30 June 2026).

Limits

Most European connections run through Paris, which adds a change of planes on routes that low-cost airlines fly directly. Cheap fares exclude checked bags and changes, and strikes at French airports can disrupt operations.
