AKU

AKU is an Italian outdoor and trekking footwear brand from Montebelluna, the centre of the Italian sports shoe industry. The operating company is AKU Italia s.r.l. The brand was built up by founder Galliano Bordin, and his son Paolo Bordin now runs it.

According to the brand, shoes are developed and made at the Montebelluna factory, where visitors can also use the factory store. AKU also runs a separate Canadian distributor for North America and works with ambassadors in the mountain sports scene.
