Argon Audio

Argon Audio is a Danish hi-fi company whose story began in the early 2000s as an in-house brand of retailer HiFi Klubben. It became an independent company in 2019 and remains based in Nørager, Denmark. The brand develops audio equipment for home listening.

From retailer brand to company

Argon Audio grew out of HiFi Klubben's hands-on experience selling and supporting sound equipment. Its first breakthrough product was the DAB1 tabletop radio. The company later developed turntables, active stereo speakers and streaming products.

Home audio range

The current range includes active and passive speakers, subwoofers, turntables, amplifiers, streaming devices and accessories. Models such as the FORTE series are sold as speaker pairs, while the TT range serves vinyl listening at home.

Connections and playback

Depending on the model, speakers offer Bluetooth, Wi-Fi streaming and HDMI ARC for connection to televisions. Turntables include options with built-in phono preamps and cartridges from Ortofon or Audio-Technica, allowing different levels of setup.

Designed for everyday listening

Argon Audio says its products are engineered in Denmark with Scandinavian design. Active speakers combine amplification and speaker drivers in one system, reducing the need for separate components. Passive speakers can be paired with a receiver or amplifier.

For music, television and vinyl

The product range supports several home setups, from a compact computer desk to a living-room music system. Streaming speakers play digital services, a turntable handles records, and a subwoofer adds low-frequency output to stereo or television sound.
