Hasselblad

Hasselblad is a Swedish camera maker with its head office in Gothenburg. According to the company, it has been devoted to making cameras since 1941, and its cameras were there for the first steps on the Moon. Today Hasselblad builds digital medium-format cameras and lenses for professional and ambitious photographers.

Good to know

Hasselblad announced a corporate partnership with the Chinese drone maker DJI in November 2015, when DJI acquired a minority stake. Press reports in January 2017 described DJI as majority owner, which DJI did not comment on at the time. Because of that, this page carries a note about a non-European parent company. Hasselblad cameras and equipment are made in Sweden.
