HAZET is a German family-run manufacturer of hand tools and workshop equipment. Hermann Zerver founded the business in Remscheid in 1868. Its headquarters are still at the Remscheid-Güldenwerth plant, where the company combines tool design with production. HAZET is now managed by the fifth generation of its founding family.

From a blacksmith's workshop

The company grew from Zerver's metalworking background and began with tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers. It expanded into exports in the 1920s and built a long-running product relationship with the automotive industry and motorsport.

Tools for workshops

HAZET lists more than 6,000 products, including spanners, socket sets, torque wrenches, ratchets, tool trolleys and specialist automotive tools. Its catalog also covers general workshop equipment, pneumatic and power tools, safety products and torque tools.

German production

The company operates four plants in Germany. At its Remscheid site, forged combination wrenches pass through multiple production steps that combine forging, CNC machinery and skilled finishing. HAZET also develops production tooling and dies used to make its own tools.

Designed for repair work

Products are used in passenger-car and commercial-vehicle workshops, industrial maintenance, motorsport, aviation, maritime work and two-wheel repair. HAZET says it supplies spare parts for wear components such as ratchet internals, supporting repair and continued use.

Precision and long service

The range serves professional technicians and experienced home mechanics who need hand tools for fastening, measuring torque and organizing workshop jobs. The company emphasizes fit, materials and durability, with product development informed by user tests and industry standards.
