Heidi Chocolate

Heidi Chocolat is a Romanian chocolate and confectionery producer founded in Bucharest in 1994 and built on a Swiss family recipe tradition. The company belongs to Kex Confectionery, a holding of the Austrian Julius Meinl family, which also owns the Romanian brand Kandia.

According to the company, Heidi sells in more than 40 countries, with a strong focus on Bulgaria, Moldova, Poland and Hungary, and employs over 300 people. In its home market Romania it is one of the best known chocolate brands.

Heidi is the sister brand of Kandia, Romania's well known food and confectionery company, and both are managed under Kex Confectionery. Business press reported annual sales of about 51 million euros for Heidi in 2024. The company presents its range through its own online shop and through export contacts for trade customers.
