Interhome

Interhome is a holiday home and apartment rental company founded in 1965 and based in Glattbrugg near Zurich, Switzerland (operating company HHD AG). It offers holiday homes, apartments, chalets and villas in more than 20 European countries, with local service offices at the destinations. Since August 2025 Interhome has belonged to the Berlin-based HomeToGo group, which bought it from the Swiss Migros group.

Features

Guests book directly with Interhome, which acts as the contracting party for the properties it manages on behalf of owners. It is an agency with its own portfolio, not a peer-to-peer marketplace like Airbnb. The search covers houses, flats, chalets and villas at lakes, in the mountains and on the coast, with a focus on the Alps, the Mediterranean and Scandinavia. Owners can hand over their property to Interhome for management and marketing.

Limits

Interhome does not rent rooms in private homes. Since the HomeToGo takeover, part of its stock may also appear on HomeToGo. The number of properties differs between company statements, so check the current figure on the website.
