Josera

Josera is a German pet food brand from Kleinheubach in Lower Franconia, Bavaria. The name comes from the initials of JOSEF Erbacher Agrar: Joseph and Pauline Erbacher started the company in Weilbach more than 80 years ago, first making feed lime, and moved to the present site in Kleinheubach in 1980. Josera is part of Erbacher the Food Family, a family business now in its third generation.

Range and approach

• Dry and wet food for dogs and cats, plus food for horses
• Many recipes without added wheat, soy, sugar or dairy products and without added artificial colours or flavourings
• Raw materials and finished products are tested in the company's own accredited laboratory

Company

Erbacher says its products are sold in nearly 90 countries, and it opened a pet food company in Poland, Josera Petfood sp. z o.o., to serve the European market. Josera markets its food as "Super Premium", a marketing term without a legal definition. The range is large, so owners of pets with allergies should check the individual recipe.
