Website

KanbanFlow is a web based project management service launched in 2011 by CodeKick AB, a small software company based in Gothenburg, Sweden. It combines a visual Kanban board with time tracking and workflow reports. The service is used by teams and individual users who want to organize tasks and monitor work in progress.

Visual task boards

Users create columns for stages of work and move cards as tasks progress. Swimlanes can separate projects or work types, while work in progress limits help teams focus on finishing existing tasks before starting more. Changes to a shared board appear to collaborators in real time.

Time tracking and focus

Each task can record time through a Pomodoro timer, a simple stopwatch or manual logging. The Pomodoro option supports focused work intervals followed by short breaks. Users can review time spent by task and filter reports to understand how work is distributed.

Flow analytics

KanbanFlow includes charts for cumulative flow, throughput, burndown, cycle time and lead time. A Monte Carlo forecasting tool uses past delivery data to estimate possible project outcomes. These reports help teams identify bottlenecks and review how consistently tasks move through a workflow.

Teams and integrations

The service offers a mobile web application, a REST based API with webhook support, task creation by email and import or export to spreadsheet formats. KanbanFlow has free and premium boards, with terms that distinguish individual board ownership from organizational boards. CodeKick continues to maintain the product from Sweden.
