Kerrygold

Kerrygold is the best known consumer brand of Ornua, an Irish dairy cooperative with its registered address in Dublin. Ornua was called the Irish Dairy Board until 2015 and markets dairy products on behalf of its members, the Irish dairy processors and through them Irish dairy farmers. Kerrygold is made from the milk of grass fed cows and is exported as part of Ornua's dairy range to 110 countries.

Range

• Kerrygold butter, the brand's original product
• Kerrygold cheeses such as Irish Cheddar
• Other Ornua consumer brands: Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Forto and BEO

Ownership

Ornua is a cooperative owned by Irish dairy processors, with around 2,900 employees and sales of more than 3.4 billion euros. There is no non-European parent. Ornua markets and sells the products of its members, and the brand is aimed at supermarket shoppers, not at small specialist cheese counters.
