Koton

Koton is a Turkish fashion retailer headquartered in Istanbul. The story began in 1988 with a 25 square metre store in Kuzguncuk. Today the company runs around 466 stores and employs more than 7,900 people, with a presence in about 70 countries. Koton Mağazacılık has been listed on Borsa Istanbul since 10 May 2024.

The founding Yılmaz family holds about 47 percent of the shares, Nemo Apparel B.V., an investment vehicle linked to the Turkish private equity firm Turkven, holds 39.6 percent, and the rest is free float.

Koton sells fashion through its own stores in Turkey and abroad, as well as through its online shop at koton.com. Its stock market listing means the company publishes its shareholder structure and corporate governance details in an investor relations section.
