La Casera
WebsiteLa Casera is a Spanish soft drink brand with a history that goes back to 1949. Its founder is Félix Duffo of the Duffo family, and the brand's own company calls the "gaseosa", a lightly sweet carbonated lemonade, its pioneering product and says the brand has always been part of Spanish homes.
Range
- La Casera Gaseosa, the original carbonated soft drink
- Lighter flavours such as lemon, spearmint and apple
- Low-alcohol mixes such as Tinto de Verano and "Distinto de Verano", a mix of Verdejo wine and lemon juice
Ownership
Today La Casera is run by Suntory Beverage & Food Iberia, part of Suntory Beverage & Food Europe. La Casera joined Schweppes in 2001, a company that had been its licensed bottler in Spain since 1957. Suntory is a Japanese group, so the brand carries the non-European parent flag even though it is a classic Spanish brand.
