Mavi

Mavi is a Turkish fashion and jeans brand headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey. It grew out of denim and now sells a wider lifestyle range. Its shares have traded on Borsa Istanbul since June 2017, and the company is controlled by Turkish shareholders: the three Akarlılar family members hold about 27 percent and the rest is public float.

Size and reach

According to the company, Mavi runs 498 mono-brand stores and sells through around 4,000 points of sale worldwide. It employs close to 6,000 people and counts 11 million loyalty card members, and describes itself as Turkey's most loved brand. A German subsidiary, Mavi Europe AG, serves the European market, and an online shop delivers to many EU countries.
