Mirka

Mirka is a Finnish manufacturer of abrasives and surface finishing products. The company has its head office in Jeppo, Finland, and has belonged to the family-owned KWH Group since 1963. Its products serve woodworking, automotive refinishing, metalworking and industrial finishing.

In volume terms, Mirka counts among the largest producers of coated and non-woven abrasives globally. The parent KWH Group, based in Vaasa, reported a turnover of 412 million euros for 2025.

Mirka also operates manufacturing in the United States, where it opened an abrasives plant in 2025. The company sells through its own marketing companies and distributors, which makes its sanding systems available to professionals in many countries.
