Nettimökki

Nettimökki is Finland's largest marketplace for renting cottages and cabins. The service has been running for about 20 years and is operated by the Finnish listed media company Alma Media Oyj.

Features

• Search for cottages across Finland, from small forest cabins to villas by the lake
• Owners and tourism businesses list their cottages and manage bookings and messages
• Nettimaksu payment service for secure online payment of the rent

The site carries the Finnish 'Avainlippu' label for services produced and employing people in Finland.

Tens of thousands of cottage seekers use the service each week, according to the operator. Guests manage their booking from start to finish on the same site, and owners decide the conditions, timing and renters themselves. Alma Media also operates other Finnish marketplaces such as Etuovi.com for homes and Nettiauto for cars, and the Nettimökki site lists about 3,000 rental cottages across Finland.
