Nevis

Nevis is an identity and access management platform from Nevis Security AG, headquartered in Zurich. The technology grew up inside the Swiss software company AdNovum and has been developed by an independent spin-off since 2020. Nevis says it has protected digital portals for more than 20 years, protects more than 500 portals and secures over 80 percent of online banking transactions in Switzerland. The company has more than 100 employees in four countries.

Standing and limits

Nevis is strongest where security and regulation matter most, which is why many Swiss banks and insurers use it. It is a commercial product with sales through a sales team, not a self-service tool for small projects, and it is not open source. For a developer-oriented start without a contract, Keycloak or ZITADEL are the closer match.
