Nice

Nice is an Italian home management company with headquarters in Oderzo, in the province of Treviso. Lauro Buoro founded it in 1993 to make remote controls for gates and garage doors, and it has been listed on the STAR segment of the Italian stock exchange since 2006.

Company

According to the company, it employs over 2,000 people of more than 40 nationalities, runs 15 R&D centres and 15 production plants and serves customers in more than 100 countries. Its group includes brands such as elero, FIBARO, HySecurity and abode.

Growth through acquisitions

Since 2018 the group says it has completed seven acquisitions in Europe and North America worth almost 400 million euros. Earlier steps include the elero group in 2011, HySecurity in 2016, FIBARO in 2018 and Nortek Security & Control in 2021. In 2023 it received several awards at the CEDIA Expo and was named a Best Managed Company by Deloitte in Italy.
