Politiken is one of the best-known quality newspapers in Denmark and is read in the Danish language. Because the owning foundations are not listed on a stock exchange, the paper is not controlled by outside shareholders. Readers can use the free parts of the website and the paid digital subscription, and the group publishes its news in Danish for readers in Denmark.
