RUKO

RUKO is a German maker of precision tools for metal cutting. Josef Ruppert founded the company in 1974 near Böblingen, and since 1990 it has been based in Holzgerlingen near Stuttgart. It describes itself as a medium sized family business with an investment from the Rothenberger Group.

According to the company, RUKO has around 200 employees and supplies more than 2,000 trading partners in 70 countries.

The company was entered in the commercial register of Stuttgart and is managed by several managing directors, among them Dr. Christian Heine, Otto Tomaschek, Mohammad Anwar and Tobias Konz. RUKO also presents knowledge articles and product comparisons, for example on choosing the right countersink for a job, and offers new tools such as the 3S countersink and the PerforMAX core drill.
