Sonus faber
WebsiteSonus faber is an Italian loudspeaker maker founded in 1983 and based in Vicenza, Italy. The company says it has handcrafted speakers there for more than 40 years.
Products
- Hi-fi speaker collections such as Olympica, Amati Supreme, Sonetto and Lumina
- Wireless and active models
- Custom installation speakers for home cinema, multi-room and outdoor use
- Limited editions and brand collaborations, for example with Automobili Lamborghini
Sonus faber belongs to McIntosh Group, which Bose Corporation (USA) acquired in November 2024. The brand is therefore flagged as having a non-European parent, although design and manufacturing stay in Italy.
Design and craftsmanship are central to the brand: cabinets use wood and leather finishes, and the company stresses acoustic engineering developed in-house. A dealer finder on the official site lets you book a listening demo with authorised retailers.
