Surfshark is a VPN and security provider that launched in 2018 with a VPN and a first independent audit.[1] It is based in the Netherlands with a registered address in Amsterdam, plus offices in Vilnius, Kaunas, Warsaw and Berlin.[1] In 2022 it merged with Nord Security under one holding company while operating independently.[1]

Surfshark states that it has run a 100% RAM-only server network since 2020, and that Deloitte has verified its no-logs policy, most recently in 2025.[1]

Pricing and bundles

In October 2026 the Starter plan on a 24-month term was advertised at 2.49 US dollars per month, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. The One and One+ bundles add antivirus, leak alerts and data removal by Incogni. The cheapest rate applies to the first term only; later renewals use the regular renewal price.[2]
