TePe

TePe is a Swedish oral care company from Malmö. It was founded in 1965 by the Eklund family and still describes itself as family owned. The first product was a triangular dental stick that the wood-carver Henning Eklund developed together with two professors of the dental school in Malmö. Interdental brushes followed in 1993 and made the brand known in many countries. Design, development and production all take place in Malmö.

Good to know

TePe is not a full oral care range with toothpaste in every market. The focus is on mechanical cleaning, especially between the teeth. The Eklund family also set up a foundation for dental research and education in 2015 with a donation of 5.5 million euros.
