Vipps MobilePay is a Nordic mobile wallet and payment service operated by Vipps MobilePay AS, a Norwegian company. Its current board says that a consortium of Norwegian banks owns 72.2 percent of the company and Danske Bank of Denmark owns 27.8 percent. The Norwegian banks and the Danish bank are European owners, and no non-European parent with a 50 percent or larger stake is identified.
