Website

Vispring (Vi-Spring Limited) is a British maker of luxury mattresses and beds, produced in Plymouth. Its roots go back to the Marshall Sanitary Mattress Company, founded in London in 1901 to bring the pocket spring mattress, invented by James Marshall in 1899, to Britain. The name Vi-Spring followed in 1911, a nod to the six springs sewn into each pocket.

Range

  • Handcrafted mattresses built on individually pocketed springs, made in several collections up to the Luxe range
  • Bespoke mattresses and matching bed bases
  • Sales through showrooms and retail partners in the UK and abroad

Ownership

Vispring says it is owned by the Spanish Flex Bedding Group, which also runs the sister brand And So To Bed. The mattresses are made in Britain, but ownership sits in Spain, and the price level is firmly luxury.
