X47 uses only the finest leather from European cattle, tanned in Italy and Belgium under the strictest environmental and social standards. Handmade in Germany

X47 manufactures in Germany, meeting stringent social and technical requirements. Production takes place in-house, from the creation of planners to the magnetic folding boxes, which were previously sourced from the Far East. Short transport routes and local material sourcing are central to their approach.

Premium Materials

The leather comes from Belgium and Italy, meeting the world's strictest environmental standards. Paper is sourced from sustainable, FSC-certified forests, and the steel for the spring rail comes from Italy and is processed in Switzerland. Vegan materials and leather fiber composites are also used.

Sustainable Production

X47 prints with ink instead of lasers, reducing particulate matter and saving energy. Digital printing technology minimizes waste compared to offset printing. Plastic is largely avoided, especially for direct shipping to private customers.
