Loewe is based in Kronach, Germany.[1] TechniSat was founded in 1987 by Peter Lepper in Daun in the Eifel and calls itself a medium-sized family business.[2] Metz Consumer Electronics develops and produces its televisions in Zirndorf. It has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the Chinese manufacturer Skyworth since its founding in 2015, according to the company's 2016 press release.[3]
Grundig is one of the brands in the portfolio of the Turkish group Arçelik, which trades as Beko.[4] Vestel from Turkey has owned the Finnish brand Finlux since 2006.[5] Philips-branded TVs are developed, made and supported by TP Vision, part of TPV Technology Limited, which is listed in Hong Kong and Singapore.[6]
