FRITZ! (AVM)

FRITZ! is the brand of AVM, a communications specialist based in Berlin. AVM has developed its products in-house since it started in Berlin in 1986. In 2023 the company had 890 employees and a turnover of 580 million euros. In July 2024 the founders arranged their succession: Imker Capital Partners, a Europe-based family office, became the new majority investor, and the founders kept a minority stake.

Good to know

In 2024 AVM said that it wants to grow through new products and more internationalization. If you need advanced routing, a VPN gateway or a very large network, specialist brands such as MikroTik or LANCOM are closer matches.
