Production in Mettlen in Switzerland started in 1961, and every bamix has been built there since.

Good to know
Development, motor production, assembly and testing happen at one site, and every device is switched on before it is packed. Corded bamix appliances carry a lifetime warranty on the motor, and cordless models a five-year warranty. The company also offers repairs and spare parts. The brand sells through partners worldwide instead of its own shop on the information site. It is a premium product that costs more than simple stick blenders.
