Calenso

Calenso is a Swiss appointment booking platform based in Lucerne. It was founded in 2016 by three founders in Sempach and reports more than 10 million booked appointments. Its customers include companies such as Volkswagen, Helvetia and REMAX Europe and the Canton of Zurich. Data processing and storage take place exclusively in Switzerland.

Ownership

In December 2024 Calenso joined the group of jrni, a customer interaction platform whose merger announcement was issued from Boston. The announcement says Calenso continues as a Swiss subsidiary with data residency and processing in Switzerland. Because the parent group appears to be based outside Europe, the product is marked as having a non-European parent. Anyone for whom the ownership matters should read the provider's current terms.
