Dynaudio

Dynaudio is a Danish loudspeaker maker based in Skanderborg. It builds hi-fi and studio speakers for home and professional use. According to TNT-Audio, the top-tier hi-fi loudspeakers are still manufactured in Skanderborg, while more consumer-oriented products are made in China.

Ownership

The Chinese electronics group Goertek acquired a majority of Dynaudio in 2014; TNT-Audio gives the share as 83 percent. Dynaudio's own news items describe Goertek Inc. as its parent company. The product therefore carries the non-European parent flag, even though the company is headquartered in Denmark. In 2026 Dynaudio announced that it will withdraw from the US market.

Where it fits

Dynaudio is a case where headquarters and ownership differ: the design and the top models stay in Denmark, the parent company is Chinese. That is exactly what the ownership flag is meant to show.
