Edkimo

Edkimo is a feedback tool for schools, universities and training from Berlin. Edkimo GmbH has developed it with teachers since 2015, so that learners can give anonymous feedback on lessons and courses and teachers can discuss the results with them. It is the most education-focused tool in the survey category.

Features

• Feedback by code: participants open the Edkimo website and enter a feedback code. They need no account and no app.
• Anonymous surveys: questions for lessons, projects and the whole school, evaluated automatically.
• Live feedback: real-time answers such as word clouds, which Edkimo positions as a privacy-friendly alternative to Mentimeter for schools.
• Templates and guides: its blog offers question sets and instructions for teachers.

Who uses it and what it costs

Edkimo lists education institutions such as the Landesinstitut Hamburg and Leuphana University among its partners. For students and other participants Edkimo is always free of charge, according to the provider. Offers and prices for teachers and schools are on its cost page. Edkimo is not meant for market research or long questionnaires, for which LimeSurvey or LamaPoll fit better.
