MÁDARA

MÁDARA is a Latvian organic cosmetics brand from Riga. The parent company, MADARA Cosmetics, was registered in Riga in 2006 and is listed on the Nasdaq Baltic First North market. The brand develops and produces its skincare and makeup in its own factory in Latvia.

Standards

The company states that all formulas are ECOCERT or COSMOS certified, that it is B Corp certified and cruelty-free, and that most products are vegan. The brand is sold in around 44 countries according to its country selector.

Ownership

The shareholder list from September 2023 shows Latvian founders and managers as the largest holders, plus the Finnish Transmeri Group with about 23 %.
