sebamed

sebamed is a German skin and body care brand from Boppard on the Rhine. The physician Dr. Heinz Maurer founded the underlying company sebamat GmbH in 1967 and launched the first soap-free wash bar with a skin-friendly pH value of 5.5, which gave the brand its name and its main selling point. The distribution company Sebapharma, set up in 1983, sells the products in around 100 countries. It lists 168 products, 437 employees and its head office in Bad Salzig, part of Boppard.
