McVitie's is a British biscuit and cake brand. It started in 1839 as a small provision shop on Rose Street in Edinburgh, and the original Digestive recipe was developed in Edinburgh in 1892 by Alexander Grant. The brand has a history of more than 185 years and is still best known for Digestives, Hobnobs and Rich Tea.
