Mepal

Mepal is a Dutch lifestyle brand for storing, serving and taking along food and drinks. The company is headquartered in Lochem in the Netherlands and started in the 1950s with plastic products for food storage. The investor 3i Group, based in the UK, has held a stake since 2021.

Positioning

Mepal targets everyday use at home, at school and at work. Its pitch is reusable products that replace single-use cups and bottles. The range is made mainly of plastics and stainless steel, so it is a practical, affordable alternative to ceramic or glass tableware rather than a fine dining choice. Mepal sells through retailers and its own web shop.
