MercurySteam is a game development studio based in Madrid, Spain, founded in 2002. It has grown to more than 160 employees and builds games for PC and consoles on its own proprietary engine. The Danish investor Nordisk Games, part of the Nordic media group Egmont, has held a 40 % stake since December 2020; the founders remain in charge.

Games

  • Clive Barker's Jericho, an early title of the studio
  • The Castlevania: Lords of Shadow trilogy, developed for Konami
  • Metroid: Samus Returns, developed for Nintendo on the 3DS
  • Spacelords, a self-published free-to-play co-op shooter

The studio works both as a contract developer for large publishers and on its own titles. Its press material calls it a reference in European game development.
