WebsiteRhodia is a French brand of notepads and notebooks, known as the brand with the two fir trees. It started in Lyon, where the brothers Henri and Robert Vérilhac founded the paper business that launched the first Rhodia stapled pad in September 1934. The name refers to the Rhône region, and the logo with two firs stands for the two founding brothers.

Good to know
Rhodia belongs to the Exacompta Clairefontaine group, which says that it is the only group in Western Europe that both produces and converts paper. The brand highlights its manufacturing in France and sells through stationers and online. The smooth paper suits fountain pens and is popular with writers and designers. Rhodia and Clairefontaine come from the same group, so readers will find overlap in the range.
