SendGB

SendGB is a file transfer service run by SendGB OÜ with its registered address in Tallinn, Estonia. The company describes itself as established in Estonia in 2019. SendGB lets users send large files by link or email without registration.

Features

• Free transfers: up to 5 GB per transfer by link or email, with no sign-up.
• Paid plans: SendGB Extra raises the limit to 1 TB.
• Retention: senders choose how long files stay available, up to 365 days at most. Afterwards the files are deleted permanently.
• Encryption: files are encrypted at rest with AES-256, and connections use TLS.

Things to check

According to its privacy policy, SendGB stores files on Cloudflare's infrastructure in up to six regions worldwide. The company has its seat in Europe, but the files do not necessarily stay in Europe, and the encryption is not end to end. For sensitive files, SwissTransfer, which stores files only in Switzerland, or an end-to-end encrypted service such as Tresorit fits better.
