Uptime Kuma
WebsiteUptime Kuma is a free, self-hosted monitoring tool. It is open source under the MIT license and has more than 90,000 stars on GitHub, which makes it the most common answer to the question for a self-hosted UptimeRobot alternative. It is developed by Louis Lam, whose GitHub profile lists Hong Kong, so it is not a European project. It is included because it is open source and can be run on any server in Europe.
Features
- Monitor types: HTTP(s), TCP, keyword, JSON query, WebSocket, ping, DNS record, push, Steam game server and Docker containers.
- More than 90 notification services.
- Multiple status pages and a multi-language interface.
Limits
Uptime Kuma has no company behind it that offers a hosted service or a service level. You install, update and secure it yourself. Because it checks only from the server it runs on, an outage of that server or its network also stops the monitoring.
