Figures come from the providers' own websites in October 2026 and change over time, so check the current plan before signing up.
Dropbox has a long list of integrations with other business tools, and most European services have fewer. Encrypted providers cannot search or preview file contents on the server. Some features, such as password-protected sharing links, require a paid plan at certain providers. Internxt (1 GB), Murena (1 GB) and Cryptee (100 MB) give less free storage than Dropbox Basic's 2 GB.
If you are also leaving other big-tech clouds, see the pages for Google Drive and OneDrive. For large archives and backups, object storage providers are an option, and all providers are listed under cloud storage.
For privacy, Proton Drive or Filen. For the most free storage, Infomaniak kDrive. For self-hosting, OpenCloud.
Proton Drive (5 GB), Filen (10 GB), Internxt (1 GB) and Cryptee (100 MB) have free tiers with end-to-end encryption.

Some providers can, such as kDrive and Strato. Otherwise, sync the Dropbox folder to your computer and copy the files over.
