BitBox

BitBox is a Swiss hardware wallet made by Shift Crypto AG in Zurich. The company was founded in 2015, the BitBox02 followed in 2019, and its successor BitBox02 Nova is available in a Multi edition and a Bitcoin-only edition. The firmware is fully open source, and the devices are designed and manufactured in Switzerland.

Good to know

The BitBox02 has no visible screen when powered off, which makes it discreet. Shift Crypto AG is privately held. Like every hardware wallet, it protects the keys and not the value of the coins, and the recovery backup must be kept safe.
