Tangem

Tangem is a Swiss company headquartered in Zug that builds hardware wallets in the form of NFC cards. It was founded in 2018 and launched what it calls the world's first NFC card hardware wallet. The cards need no battery and no cable: they are tapped on a smartphone, which also runs the Tangem app.

Good to know

Losing all cards of a set without another backup means losing access to the funds. The Tangem app is open source and can be checked on GitHub. Tangem AG states that it supplies hardware wallets and non-custodial software and is not a regulated financial service provider.
