Castorama

Castorama is a French DIY chain. The first store opened in France in 1969, and the brand launched its well-known slogan in 1975. It belongs to the British group Kingfisher and trades in France and Poland.

• Kingfisher's entry-price kitchen range "Pragma", first sold at Brico Dépôt France, has since reached Castorama Poland

Where to find it

The first Castorama store in Poland opened in 1997 (Kingfisher company history). Kingfisher launched a home improvement marketplace at Castorama Poland in 2025, and Castorama France and Poland plan to offer click and collect for marketplace products in 2026. Kingfisher counts Castorama France and Castorama Poland among its banners for general DIY needs, next to B&Q.

Ownership

Castorama is a French-founded brand within Kingfisher plc, a listed British group. Kingfisher itself operates in seven countries across Europe, so there is no non-European parent.
