DALI Logo

DALI, short for Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries, is a Danish loudspeaker maker. Peter Lyngdorf founded it in 1983 with the aim of reproducing music as honestly as possible. The headquarters and factory are in Nørager in northern Denmark, where construction began in 1986. According to SoundStage, DALI began as the house speaker brand of the hi-fi store chain Hi-Fi Klubben, which Lyngdorf had also founded.

Range

  • Floor-standing and bookshelf speakers, centre and surround speakers, wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted speakers and subwoofers.
  • Wireless systems, portable audio and complete home cinema solutions.
  • The company is best known for its high-end MegaLine series.

Production

Since 2007 DALI also operates a quality-control and production facility in Ningbo, China, which it owns and manages and which serves as its Chinese distribution hub. Development and the main factory remain in Denmark.

Where it fits

DALI covers stereo hi-fi as well as multi-channel home cinema, so a set-up with front, centre and surround speakers and a subwoofer can come from one manufacturer.
