Doro

Doro AB is a Swedish company headquartered in Malmö that makes mobile phones, smartphones and other devices for seniors. Since 2025 it has been owned by Xplora Technologies AS from Norway, which exceeded 90 per cent of the shares in November 2025 and had Doro delisted from Nasdaq Stockholm in December 2025.

Good to know

Doro describes itself as the European market leader for senior-specific mobile phones and sells in more than 20 countries. In 2021 it split off its telecare business into the separate company Careium, so Doro now concentrates on consumer devices. Models and availability differ by country, so check the national Doro site.
