ECCO

ECCO is a Danish shoe company founded in 1963 by Birte and Karl Toosbuy in Bredebro in southwest Denmark, where the company is still based. The Toosbuy family still owns the company, and Hanni Toosbuy chairs its board. ECCO says it owns and manages almost every step of the value chain, from tanneries and shoe factories to wholesale and retail.
