Furygan
WebsiteFurygan is a French maker of protective equipment for motorcyclists. Jacques Segura founded the company in 1969, and its headquarters has been in Nîmes since the start. The company calls itself a French family business and is continued by his son David Segura. The panther in its logo is the brand's trademark.
Features
Furygan focuses on technical clothing for riders of motorised two-wheelers: jackets, trousers, gloves, boots, race suits, protectors, bags and casual wear. The company has two factories, one in France and one in Tunisia, and works with a selected network of subcontractors. In Nîmes it keeps a production site with leather cutting and a sewing workshop, and the Furygan Motion Lab, an in-house research and development laboratory.
Ownership
Furygan is independent and family-owned. No investor from outside Europe is known.
