Held

Held is a German manufacturer of motorcycle clothing. Held GmbH is based in Burgberg im Allgäu in Bavaria and has existed since 1946, so the company celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2026. It started as a craft business making gloves and has grown into a producer of protective clothing with five sites. Markus Held is the managing director. There is a showroom at the administrative headquarters, and Held also runs its own online shop.

Features

The range covers motorcycle gloves, textile suits, leather suits, motorcycle boots, luggage and lifestyle clothing. Held says it combines safety, fit and comfort in a durable way at a price-conscious level. In the 2026 readers' poll of the magazine MOTORRAD the brand reached the best result in its history and won four categories.

Held GmbH is a privately run company with Markus Held as managing director. No investor from outside Europe is known.
