Naim Audio

Naim Audio is a British hi-fi manufacturer based in Salisbury. It was founded in 1973 by Julian Vereker and designs and manufactures high-end audio systems. The company is known for its amplifiers and streaming components.

Range

• The Uniti family of streaming amplifiers: the compact all-in-one Uniti Atom, the CD-playing Uniti Star and the audiophile Uniti Nova.
• Separate amplifiers, preamplifiers and network players for larger systems.
• Naim is one of the two brands of the Vervent Audio Group, together with the French speaker maker Focal.

Ownership

Since the 2011 merger with Focal, Naim belonged to VerVent Audio Group. In May 2026 Barco, a technology company from Belgium, announced the completed acquisition of all shares of VerVent Audio Holding, which brings both Focal and Naim into the Barco portfolio. The owner is therefore European and the product carries no non-European parent flag.
