PcComponentes

PcComponentes is a Spanish online retailer for technology, headquartered in Alhama de Murcia in southern Spain. Alfonso Tomás and Francisco Yúfera founded it in 2005 with a small shop of about 50 square metres. Today it sells computers, components, phones, gaming gear and household appliances in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and Germany.

Features

• Very wide selection of PC components, laptops, peripherals and gaming hardware, popular with builders and gamers.
• Further categories such as phones, TV and audio, smart home and small appliances.
• Physical stores in Alhama de Murcia, Madrid, Barcelona and Murcia for pick-up and returns.

Limits

The core strength is IT hardware. Other product groups are less deep than at general platforms. The Spanish site is the most complete, while the shops in other countries have a smaller range and fewer service points. The company reports about 650 employees and revenue of roughly 647 million euros, and it was among the first Spanish online shops to hold a Black Friday sale.
